As one of the largest purchasers of film in the world, we have tested and worked with almost every brand and line of film and available. We have done this to make sure we are always providing our customers with the best overall product available.
Currently XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS is the best all-around film available in the marketplace. It has a 10-year manufacturer warranty against any material defects or failures. XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS also has a self-healing, chemical resistant topcoat. The self-healing layer allows small swirls and abrasions to repair themselves when exposed to heat. This keeps the film looking brand new far longer than other brands. While many brands now offer a similar self-healing topcoat, our experience is that XPEL’s preforms the best.
What it is
Automotive Paint Protection Film is made from thermoplastic polyurethane known as a TPU plastic. While material thickness varies between lines and manufacturers, most films are between 6 and 10 mils thick. Every manufacturer has a unique pressure-sensitive adhesive, each with their own unique quirks balancing ease of installation and longevity. Premium films also feature a low energy topcoat. This topcoat is what separates the top of the line films from the budget options. The topcoat protects the plastic layer from marring and staining allowing the film to keep looking clear and glossy for as long as you own the vehicle. Non top coated films either discolor (turn yellow or gray) or haze (due to micro abrasions) over time.

Why Patterns
Many PPF installers still rely on imprecise and inconsistent hand trimming when preforming installs. Not us, we rely on the mechanical precision of computer cut patterns. In addition to having access to several CAD pattern libraries, we also design our own templates in house. Which means we never have to trim on your vehicles painted surfaces.

XPEL warranties their materials for life. this covers any product failure for 10 years and unlimited miles. This includes discoloration, cracking, pealing, Delamination, and any other material failure.

We stand behind our application work for as long as you own the vehicle. Any product failure due to our work will be replaced at absolutely no cost, for life. This Includes any debris, contaminants, lifting edges, or any other product failure related to the application of the product.
After Care Instructions
Day 1 - Day 7
Do not wash your vehicle, if you must, please do so by hand and take exceptional care around the edges of the film.
Do not apply pressure to the film, this includes pushing or touching any moisture pockets or slight distortions that may be visible as the film cures. Applying pressure at this stage can disturb the adhesive and may remain visible after the film cures.
Allow for the adhesive and topcoat to fully cure before addressing any areas of concern, if any imperfections are visible after this time elapses please contact us as a repair or replacement may be necessary.
Ongoing Care
Stubborn stains can be removed with isopropyl alcohol and a clean microfiber cloth. This can also be used to remove waxy/dusty/dirty build up at the edge of the film.
Light scratches in the film will self-heal as the material is exposed to temperatures over 70 degrees. Warm water / hair dryers / mild sources of heat can be used to accelerate this process, though this isn’t necessary.
Remove caustic elements (bugs, tar, tree sap, ETC) in a timely manner, as you would with any painted surface.
If you use a pressure washer to clean your vehicle, be careful to not aim it towards the edges of body panels. Be mindful of the distance, pressure, and tip selection being used, especially near the edges of the film.
